Summary:. Donnie is a loving and funny Labrador/Terrier mix who lost his home. He was very underweight and had a skin infection when we took him in, but that has been treated and he is gaining weight and looking great. This boy is a real sweetheart and is adored by all of the staff at our vet and by our volunteers. He loves people and wants to say hi to everyone. He bonds with people quickly because he is so affectionate, and the lucky family who adopts him will have an adoring companion forever. Donnie's is also very well behaved. He's great in the car and excellent on the leash. Walking and the game of fetch are some of his favorite things. Donnie knows basic commands, and is intelligent and attentive enough to learn many new ones and any tricks you want to teach him. Donnie was raised with children and is in excellent health. Donnie needs a person who will make him a member of the family and has the time to give him the love and exercise he needs. He is 3 years old and is neutered and vaccinated.
